2017 NEWS



Friendly Beaver Campground offers payment plans for your convenience. When campers first sign their contracts with Friendly Beaver Campground, we always take time to advise them about our late fees. (Note: we are still having late charges, just no 10 day grace period.) The late fees can add up quickly. When you send us a payment, we take out the late fees that are due first. Then we apply the remaining amount of your payment to your contract. We hope that this will encourage our campers to keep up with their payments. We realize that there are also a great number of campers who consistently make their payments on time and there are even some who pay in full. This paragraph does not apply to them. It is extremely important that we receive our payments on time. Then we can pay our bills on time. As long as we keep our bills paid, we can continue to have a great campground to enjoy.

Our policies regarding campers who are past due have changed. If you have a balance due, you are not allowed on the grounds, except for 10 minutes to check on your trailer, until you are caught up. You must stop by the office to let us know that you are here. If you are two or more months behind in your payments, we will pull your trailer off the site and it will be put in an unsecured area. We have many campers looking for sites here at Friendly Beaver Campground and it is not feasible to have a trailer sit on a site that no one is paying for.


Contracts for the 2017-18 season are available in the office. When we send your renewal out we are also enclosing a copy of your contract. They are sent to you about a month or so before you're due to renew your new contract. Contracts automatically renew themselves on renewal date unless renewal form is returned within 30 days prior to the date your contract renews. Please sign both forms and return them to us as soon as possible. If you have a credit card authorization on file with the office, please bring your card with you when you come in to sign your new contract. We need to slide your card and have you fill out a new authorization form. Remember, anytime that you have a change in your address, phone number or any changes in your credit card, please let us know ASAP. We like to keep our records up to date.



NEW POLICY regarding golf cart binders: If you DO NOT have a current binder on file in the office, then you will not be allowed to drive your golf cart. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS. Remember: you are responsible to keep your binder current.

Each Spring we update our golf cart binders. Please make sure that your insurance binder is current and on file in the office. Campers are responsible to keep their binders up to date. All golf cart operators must have a valid driver's license. We do not allow open alcohol containers on golf carts. Any camper who is caught driving their golf cart while intoxicated will have their golf cart grounded to their site. This policy is for everyone's safety, including the campers that have been grounded. All golf carts are to be on their own site by 1 am, no exceptions.


If you have an emergency, call 911, then have someone notify the office and/or a staff member. We have emergency response procedures that we put into action to get emergency personnel and vehicles to the correct area of the campground as soon as possible. Do not hesitate to contact any staff member at any time of the day or night in case of an emergency.


In small towns like New Boston, volunteers make up the fire and rescue squads. Volunteers come from all over town to respond to an emergency. When you see red flashing lights, please pull over to the side of the road and let the vehicle go by. Their flashing lights are to let you know that the person driving the vehicle is responding to an emergency. This could be either a fire or medical emergency. Remember, every second counts in an emergency. We don't think that you'd like to wait for help because EMTs or firemen got delayed behind someone who would not pull out of the way.

REMEMBER ALL VISITORS MUST REGISTER IN THE OFFICE. THIS IS A STATE LAW. Any questions about the law, it is RSA. 216-1.5. Be sure that you tell your visitors to stop by the office to register. It is your responsibility to be sure that all your visitors are registered. Campers are responsible for the actions of their guests.
